Event Information

The Friends of the Community Manning Park Trail Run is a volunteer run event held 15 October 2023 at Manning Park in Hamilton Hill starting at 9am. It's a great community health event promoting an active lifestyle in the City of Cockburn.

It will a fun day for the whole family.

 

Distances and Course

This is a 5km & 10k run or walk, suitable for most people. It starts near the sound shell then through the Azalea Ley Homestead and around the trails taking in most of manning Park then up the 192 steps of the Manning Stairs. From the top you get a magnificent view of the ocean. This is followed by a descent into the bush tracks. There are some steep sections and loose gravel. The tracks circle back to Azelia Ley and the race will finish back at the Start area. The 10K course will divert near the Homestead to take in more of the trails and another climb up the stairs and follow the remainder of the trails to finish at the starting point.
